PET THE CAT
Punkrock since 2019
EPK
Hailing from the eclectic and diverse music scene of Berlin, Pet the Cat burst onto the alternative rock scene in 2019, delivering a sonic experience that seamlessly fuses the anthemic energy of Jimmy Eat World, the punk ethos of Blink-182, and the raw, rebellious spirit of Donots. The quartet, led by vocalist and guitarist Stefan B., alongside bassist Kazim K., drummer Martin M., and musical genius Martin H., has quickly become synonymous with the pulsating heartbeat of the city.
Pet the Cat's music is a dynamic blend of infectious hooks, soaring melodies, and gritty guitar riffs that resonate with fans of alternative rock and punk alike. With a nod to their influences, the band has carved out a sound that captures the essence of early 2000s punk-rock while infusing it with a modern, Berlin-inspired twist.
Known for their electrifying live performances, Pet the Cat channels the left-wing ethos of Berlin's vibrant subcultures into their shows. With a commitment to inclusivity, social consciousness, and a passion for justice, the band aims to inspire a sense of unity and purpose among their fans.
Keep an ear out for Pet the Cat as they navigate the realms of alternative rock with a sound that echoes the past while pushing the boundaries of the present. With their infectious energy, socially conscious lyrics, and Berlin-inspired edge, Pet the Cat stands as a testament to the enduring power of alternative rock to unite, inspire, and ignite change.

PA-System
The sound system is to be provided by the organizers and dimensioned according to the event area. At the beginning of the sound check, the system must be tested and, if necessary, calibrated. In a small setup, only vocals are amplified through the PA system. Guitar, bass, and drums (1 each) directly project sound to the event area.
Pet The Cat does not have its own technicians. We appreciate a capable person from the organizer's side, but we can manage it with prior information as well.
The band requires a flat area of approximately 5 m x 5 m. A raised platform above the floor or audience area is not mandatory. In the drum area, a carpet with a minimum size of 2 m x 3 m should be placed. On stage, a monitor wedge for vocals is needed (Stage-Center). If any of these are not possible or available, it's generally not a problem; we just need to know in advance.
